Sessions

Sessions combine orthopedic sports massage with targeted manual therapy techniques. Sessions are designed to provide relief while addressing alignment, body mechanics, and the underlying factors that contribute to pain and dysfunction.

Appointments begin with a brief visual assessment of posture, breathing mechanics, and movement patterns. Most of the session is hands-on work focused on reducing muscular tension and improving function.

Based on the assessment, movement and stability work may also be incorporated, along with techniques and recommendations to support continued progress outside the session.

Benefits include

  • Energy and stamina

  • Posture and alignment

  • Nervous system regulation

  • Flexibility and mobility

  • Strength and neuromuscular control

  • Balance, coordination, speed, and timing for sport

Reduced

  • Risk of injury

  • Muscle fatigue and soreness

  • Protective muscle guarding

  • Muscular tension and movement restrictions

Common Symptoms

Pain, muscle tightness, joint stiffness, fatigue during activity, reduced speed or training output, or simply feeling misaligned or “off.”

These symptoms are often influenced by postural dysfunction, poor ergonomics, accumulated mental and physical stress, and training practices without adequate corrective support.

Integration

Sessions provide a stronger foundation for coaching, training, and gym work.

This work complements physical therapy treatment plans by providing additional hands-on care and movement correction to improve overall movement patterns.

It also supports collaboration with chiropractic care, athletic trainers, sports medicine physicians, and other integrative healthcare providers.
